The Saw Doctors announce first Irish gig in six years with Dublin concert

The Saw Doctors have announced their first Dublin gig in six years.

The Galway band will play the 3Olympia Theatre on Friday Oct 27.

After a five year break from touring, the group played a run of "comeback" gigs in the UK last winter, including sell-out shows at the Manchester Apollo and London's Brixton Academy.

It will be a busy summer for the band with sell out shows in New York at Hammerstein Ballroom on July 7 and MGM Music Hall in Boston on July 8.

Back in Ireland, The Saw Doctors will play Electric Picnic on September 3 as well as headlining their own ‘West’s Awake’ Festival in Tuam, Co. Galway on Saturday August 19 and Sunday August 20.

The Saw Doctors are powered by original members and songwriters Davy Carton (vocals) and Leo Moran (guitar), and are best known for their hits N17, I Useta Love Her, Red Cortina and To Win Just Once.

Tickets go on sale Friday May 26 at 10am from Ticketmaster.
