The rules Beyoncé fans must follow to get tickets for Renaissance 2023 tour including Sunderland gig

Fans of Beyoncé have been scrambling to get their hands on tickets for her upcoming Renaissance tour this year.

Among the venues the superstar will be performing at are the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as well as BT Murray Field Stadium in Edinburgh. The 2023 tour, produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, will also span North America and Europe, and fans must follow certain rules if they want a chance to get tickets.

But how can you get in to see her shows? Those who are part of Beyoncé's BeyHive fan group had a pre-sale opportunity on Monday, February 6, at 9am before general sale takes place on Tuesday, February 7, at 10am.

Fans must go to Live Nation or Ticketmaster to get tickets in the general sale tomorrow (February 7). Tickets will go live at 10am. Here's a list of rules to follow to make your chances at securing a ticket easier, according to Wales Online.

Create an account

Ticketmaster and Live Nation will only let you buy tickets if you are already an account holder. That means if you get to the front of the queue and secure your tickets you will then have to create an account before you can complete the purchase.

As Ticketmaster is prone to crashing when thousands of people are queueing for tickets that can be a risky strategy. Instead you should create an account here and log in before you try to join the queue. It will save time and increase the chances of you securing a ticket.

Start early

Ticketmaster says Beyoncé tickets will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday but due to the huge demand there will be many people who will want to be as early as possible. Ticketmaster does have a waiting room system and previous on-sales have seen waiting rooms open up to 15 minutes before the actual general sale time.

The best tactic is to open this page as early as possible and then refresh every ten or 15 minutes in the run up to 10am to check if waiting rooms have opened.

Use multiple devices

Ticketmaster is not the only seller for the Beyoncé tour. You can also bag tickets from Live Nation and that means you could have multiple tabs open to maximise your opportunities. Using extra tabs or even extra devices will mean more chance of one of them getting to the front of the queues.

Be patient

We have covered a huge number of Ticketmaster sales for big ticket events and the same thing usually happens. You will be placed in a queue and given a number of people who are ahead of you. It is important to not refresh or close this page or you will lose your place in the queue.

It is also important to stay patient. We have spotted tickets going back on sale over an hour after the on-sale time. This is because some people will get to the front of the queue and either change their mind or fail to complete the payment. These tickets will then be re-released and gives those in the queue another chance to secure a ticket.
