A new film is coming to Netflix about a budding romance between a hair stylist and a prince.
The movie is dropping this month (January 2022) and is a typical rom-com which will be enjoyed by teens and adults alike.
When New York hairdresser Izzy seizes the chance to work at the wedding of a charming prince, sparks fly between them.

The movie has several faces you’ll recognise and the plot revolves around whether duty or love will prevail.
It’s one of a number of new film releases on the streaming platform this January including Munich - The Edge of War, The Woman In The House Across The Street From The Girl In The Window and My Father’s Violin.

The Royal Treatment plot
The Royal Treatment is a typical rom-com which looks to be filled with the feel-good factor.
The official Netflix synopsis reads: “Isabella runs her own salon and isn’t afraid to speak her mind, while Prince Thomas runs his own country and is about to marry for duty rather than love.
“When Izzy and her fellow stylists get the opportunity of a lifetime to do the hair for the royal wedding, she and Prince Thomas learn that taking control of their own destiny requires following their hearts.”
Will the couple follow the spark that forms between them or will they stay true to their duty?

Laura Marano
American actress and singer Laura Marano plays Isabelle, a hair stylist in New York.
Marano, 26, formerly starred in the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally, and was one of the original classmates in Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?
Mena Massoud
Starring as Prince Thomas is Canadian actor Mena Massoud, who is most famous for starring as the lead role in Disney’s Aladdin remake.
The 30-year-old has also starred in the Prime TV series Jack Ryan and as Ethan Hart in Reprisal.
