The route the Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge will take through Nottingham

Six youngsters and The One Show's Matt Baker will be coming through Nottingham as part of the Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge.

The annual eight-day, 400 mile challenge, began on Friday, November 8 in Holyhead.

Since 2011, The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge has raised over £25 million for Children in Need, with donations going on to make a difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK.

The Rickshaw Challenge is making its way through Nottingham between noon and 2pm on Wednesday, November 13. Although reports suggest they are ahead of schedule.

The route is as follows:

From Brian Clough Way

Woodside Road

University Boulevard

Beeston Road

Abbey Street

Abbey Bridge

Castle Boulevard

Maid Marian Way

Friar Lane

Castle Gate

Robin Hood Statue

Maid Marian way

Collin Street

Canal Street

London Road

The challenge will then make its way out of the city towards Melton Mowbray.
