The Rolling Stones will arrive in Liverpool this week for a huge gig at Anfield stadium and many ticket holders will be wondering what the weather forecast is.
The event is part of The Rolling Stones SIXTY tour, which takes in several major cities across Europe including Amsterdam, Milan, London and, of course, Liverpool. Celebrating an impressive 60 years together in the music industry, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will be joined on stage by drummer Steve Jordan, after the death of Charlie Watts last summer.
The band will cruise through some of their biggest hits to date and event organisers have hinted that there will be a few surprises along the way. Start time
The doors open at 4pm and the support act for The Rolling Stones is Echo & The Bunnymen. The Rolling Stones are due on stage at 8.45pm.
Ticket holders are reminded that Anfield operates a no bag policy and that it is a cashless venue, internally and externally.
Weather forecast
The outlook for Thursday is currently dry according to the Met Office. After an overcast start, sunny spells are expected in the afternoon and the chance of rain is just 10%. At 4pm when the gates open, the temperature will be around 17 degrees, dropping to 16 degrees in the evening. Sunset is at 9.38pm.
