The sense of occasion surrounding Katie Taylor's super-fight with Amanda Serrano has been ever more evident over the course of the week.
Whether it be Madison Square Garden officially selling out to the two fighters appearing on NBC's Today Show, it's made it abundantly clear that this morning's bout was as big of an event stateside as it was back here in Ireland.
And that new level of fame that Taylor and her adversary have risen to was apparent both before and after their split-decision war when you see how many Hollywood A-listers were onboard the hype train.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is no stranger to an electrifying show and so he congratulated both women even before the first bell rang on a job well done in terms of whipping up a frenzied atmosphere around the bout.
He said: "What a monumental, defining and historic night in boxing.
"Been enjoying this build-up. So happy for and proud of Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano and all the women of boxing.
"Long overdue, but inspiring to see. LFG!!!"
Oscar-winner Charlize Theron was similarly pumped up beforehand.
The Mad Max star tweeted: "About f***ing time!
"Only took 140 years to get 2 female fighters to headline MSG, but Katie Taylor & Amanda Serrano did the damn thing. You ladies inspire the hell out of me & women everywhere - cant wait to watch!"
In the aftermath of the epic fight, two of Ireland's biggest celebrities across both sport and music were among those to pass on their congratulations to the Bray woman.
Conor McGregor wrote: "Katie Taylor The Greatest! Absolutely incredible boxing!
"Take a bow ladies! What a contest!"
While former One Direction star Niall Horan added: "What a performance from both ladies!! So happy for Katie Taylor."
Among those within the boxing fraternity to also hail both fighters for putting on such an incredible show were Errol Spence, Ryan Garcia and our own Andy Lee.
Spence tweeted: "Fight of the year so far got damn!! #TaylorvsSerrano!"
While Garcia agreed: "I have so much respect for these woman absolutely inspirational honored to have witnessed that. I hope you get all the money you deserve and I’m so happy you guys rocked that better the any man I seen."
Indeed, he later shared a beaming photo alongside Taylor too.
Limerick legend Lee meanwhile simply tweeted: "The best ever @KatieTaylor."
