Katie Price appears regularly on newsfeeds and the troubled star is notorious for her many highlights as well as some serious lows.
In fact, her new Channel 4 reality show, Katie Price's Mucky Mansion, which is due to air on Wednesday, January 26, looked like it might be withdrawn after her recent arrest and jail threat for breaching her restraining order after allegedly sending abusive messages to ex-husband Kieran Hayler's fiancée Michelle Penticost.
But as Channel 4 confirms the programme will air, we take a look at her marriages and children, run-ins with the law, and some of the other most notable elements of the Katie Price story.
Early life and name change
The first thing that jumps out as we begin to trawl through the huge stacks of information out there about Katie is that her name isn't actually Katie at all.
Her birth name is Katrina Amy Alexandra Alexis Infield and she didn't change her name to Katie Price until she was 17.
Katie is also known as "Jordan" which was the pseudonym under which she first became famous as a glamour model in 1996.
TV and writing career
Following a successful glamour-modelling career she became know for her personality as well as modelling, which naturally led to a glut of TV work.
She appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 when she famously met future husband Peter Andre and it led to numerous other reality TV shows, including Katie and Peter from 2004-2009.
She returned to I'm a Celebrity in 2009 and was the winner of Celebrity Big Brother in 2015.
She's written six autobiographical books, 11 novels, one fashion book and two successful series of children's books.
Relationships and children
Katie has five children:
Harvey (19) whose father is footballer, Dwight Yorke. Dwight has been somewhat estranged from his son throughout his life. Harvey suffers with a number of health conditions including: Prader-Willi syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, autism and a learning disability.
Junior (16) and Princess (14) are Katie's son and daughter with ex husband and singer, Peter Andre. The pair separated after three years of marriage.
She went on to marry former mixed-martial artist and actor Alex Reid but the pair divorced after just one year and didn't have any children together.
Her third marriage to Keiran Hayler produced two children - eight-year-old son Jett and seven-year-old daughter Bunny. Katie ended the relationship after five years in May 2018 after allegedly discovering Kieran had cheated on her with three women - one being their children’s nanny and another was Katie’s best friend of 20 years, Jane Poutney .
Katie is currently engaged to Love Island star, Carl Woods.
She's also dated some high-profile men including singer, Dane Bowers and model, Charles Drury, the current boyfriend of TOWIE's Lauren Goodger.
Criminal Record and drug addiction
Katie has been very open about her battles with addiction to cocaine and alcohol.
She is under investigation currently after reportedly sending text messages to her ex-husband Kiaran Hayler's partner Michelle Penticost who has an active restraining order against Katie.
Katie was arrested on Friday, January 21 after sending abusive text messages and could now be facing a custodial sentence.
This was Katie's second misdemeanour of the recent past having plead guilty in September 2021 to charges of drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
At that hearing, her sentencing was adjourned on the condition that she have treatment, not commit any further offences, and be banned from driving.
This was by no means Katie's first driving offence.
Sussex Live reported: "Katie has her first escape in 2003 when she was allegedly caught doing 70mph in a 40mph zone. However, she evaded punishment on a technicality.
"In 2008, another offence was committed and this time she did face the punishment - convicted of driving whilst using a mobile phone and received three penalty points on her license and a £200 fine.
"2010 was another controversial year - convicted of speeding after magistrates rejected the claim that she was being hounded by paparazzi - she received four penalty points and a £250 fine.
"Then in September of that year, she was convicted for failing to be in proper control of her vehicle after her £300,000 pink horse box veered into another lane on February 19, for which she received a £1,000 fine and three penalty points.
"In December 2010, she was banned from driving for six-months after being caught speeding the previous year. She was given a £1000 fine and three points on her license, taking her over the 12-point limit bringing about the automatic six month ban.
"In 2012, Katie was told she could not drive for 12 months due to failing to respond to two speeding tickets, once again taking her up to 12 points on her license.
"Jump forward three years to 2015 and Price was convicted for failing to stop at a red light whilst driving her Bentley - she was given three points on her license and a £700 along with court costs.
"In February 2018, Katie was handed another ban - this time for six months, and a £750 fine, for doing 60 mph in a 50 mph zone in West Sussex in 2017.
"Then in the summer of 2018 Price handed herself into police for driving whilst disqualified.
"In August 2018 Price was found asleep in the backseat of her pink 4x4 after it had crashed into another car before careering into a hedge.
"She was arrested and breath tested and spent a night in the police station before being released under investigation. Charges of drink driving were dropped due to a lack of evidence.
"In October 2019 however, she was convicted of failing to provide details of the driver of the vehicle, and was handed a two-year driving ban later reduced to 18 months."
Her latest offence, as reported above, took place in September 2021 when she flipped her Range Rover in a single-vehicle crash.
Debt and bankruptcy
In 2021 it was reported in the Daily Mail that Katie still owes £3.2 million to her creditors.
The huge sum is owed from her company Jordan Trading Ltd, despite being declared bankrupt in 2019 and agreeing to a payment plan of £12,000 a month.
Mucky Mansion
Katie's family home in Horsham was dubbed the Mucky Mansion after it fell into disrepair and visitors reported that inside it was dirty and unkempt.
Despite this, we know Katie has a way of turning a crisis into a way to make money and it looks like she's done it again this time with her new Channel 4 reality TV show, Mucky Mansion.
The series was filmed last year and follows renovations to transform the house from a dishevelled state to a nice, family home.
Channel 4 have confirmed that the show will air as planned despite Katie's current criminal investigation.
Katie Price's Mucky Mansion is on Wednesday, January 26 on Channel 4 at 9pm.
