Lying is never a good trait - especially when it's only been a month since tying the knot.
But that's what The Repair Shop's Will Kirk has admitted to doing.
The 36-year-old has cheekily admitted he lied to his wife to get what he wanted - a bigger TV!
He revealed that he hadn't quite told his new doctor wife, Polly Snowdon, the exact truth - especially about the price - but he appeared to show no remorse.
The star told the Radio Times: "My wife Polly said we didn’t need a bigger TV, but our last one was really old, so I lied, saying I’d got one in the sales – I might have lied about the price as well!
"So, we’ve got a lovely big TV now and underneath that is my PlayStation, which I’ve been told to give to charity. I never have time to play, but I won’t get rid of it!"
Hopefully for the star, his wife isn't one to hold grudges!
Last month Will was full of smiles and looking dapper in a series of photos he posted on Instagram following the "best day of his life" as he wed his now wife.
In the post, he paid tribute to all that got him and his partner down the aisle, adding: "Thank you to all who attended and to those that helped to make it happen."
Will looked every inch the perfect groom as he proudly walked arm in arm with his wife as guests threw confetti at the ceremony which seems to have been at a stately home.
He was joined on his big day by many of his co-stars, including Brenton West, Suzie Fletcher, Jay Blades and Kirsten Ramsay, who left their famous workshop to toast the happy couple.
The pair were forced to postpone their original planned date due to the Covid pandemic.
Will told Lorraine in September that their first date was set for August.
He told the presenter at the time: "We were supposed to be getting married in August and unfortunately that didn't happen, so we're going to get married next year. Yes, I've been kept busy!"
The wood restoration expert who became a fans' favourite on the BBC craft show since its launch in 2017 has landed a new role separate from The Repair Shop.
He is set to join auctioneer Christina Trevanion for a new 15-part BBC series called The Travelling Auctioneers. The show will see the duo head across the country and try to turn unwanted items into profitable lots at auction.
