The Red Sox’s Triston Casas plans to paint his nails red and white this season and they look fabulous

The season after making his MLB debut with the Boston Red Sox, 23-year-old first baseman Triston Casas will be changing it up a bit. How? Specifically with part of his look.

As Boston pushes through spring training, Casas revealed that he plans to paint his fingernails red and his toenails white this season. Sprinkle in a bit of glitter on the middle fingers, and it’s obvious he knows what he’s doing. And for how long exactly? That’s not clear other than that the look on Casas’s hands and feet appear fantastic as he tries to build on his first season in the big leagues.

If Casas sports it full-time on a semi-regular basis or even just now and then, it’ll look great regardless:

Who knows how far this will go? If Casas can catch fire with his bat and glove, perhaps his painted-nail look can become as much of a trademark as Joc Pederson’s pearl necklace once was. It’s hard to find any faults with that outcome.
