Eddie Howe says that Ryan Fraser's return to top form boils down to the conditioning of the former AFC Bournemouth star.
Fraser's first season on Tyneside was interrupted by hamstring and groin injuries when playing under the guidance of Steve Bruce.
The Scotland international has been vocal about the change in training and preparation behind the scenes and admitted he could keep reporters standing around all day talking about the difference since Eddie Howe took over.

But if ever a player took on instructions and executed a game plan for Newcastle United it was surely Fraser on Saturday at Brentford.
The winger was relentless going forward and put in 13 crosses at the Community Stadium with half a dozen of them finding a team-mate.
When asked about Fraser's sparkling form, Howe said: "He was excellent.
"Again another player we think has improved week on week.
"Just that run in the team and consistency of selection has enabled him to build his fitness and sharpness.
"He is very much that kind of player that thrives on getting a yard against his opponent.
"Some of the balls that he put into the box with his left and right foot were of the highest quality."

For Fraser, the 2-0 win against Brentford, in which he assisted Joelinton for the opener, was his 10th start in a row - his best sequence of matches since joining the black and whites.
And it's also the best run of games since his Bournemouth days under Howe early in their Premier League adventure.
After scoring against Everton and laying one on a plate for Joelinton at the weekend fans are now excited about what could follow for the former Aberdeen man.
