West Ham United are set to ramp up their preparations for the second half of the season on Tuesday, December 6 when they head to League One side Cambridge United.
The Hammers are not in competitive action until Boxing Day when they head to Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and have so far scheduled two friendlies before the start of the World Cup.
The first of those come in 22 days' time at the Abbey Stadium against Cambridge, with another friendly scheduled 11 days later at Craven Cottage against Premier League rivals Fulham.

However, West Ham’s meeting with the U’s could get postponed due to the FA Cup. Should Cambridge win their FA Cup first round replay against non-league side Curzon Ashton, they will face League Two Grimsby Town in the FA Cup's second round.
If The U's then draw against the Mariners, they will have to play a second round replay which would likely fall in the same week as the club's friendly against the Hammers. As a result, the friendly would probably be postponed due to cup competitions having greater importance in the fixture schedule.
The friendly has been arranged as a testimonial match for Cambridge captain Greg Taylor, who has played 355 times for Cambridge since joining them in 2013, scoring seven goals and winning two promotions and the FA Trophy with them. Taylor is also a lifelong West Ham fan.
