Antonio Conte will have to make do without Lucas Moura for Tottenham's Premier League clash against Leeds United.
In desperate need of the points to try to keep their top-four hopes alive, the Brazilian has not travelled up to West Yorkshire with the rest of his Spurs teammates for Saturday's game.
football.london understands that Lucas sustained a knock in training at Hotspur Way on Friday and it has resulted in his absence from the squad to face Marcelo Bielsa's men.
With an FA Cup encounter against Middlesbrough coming up next week, as well as upcoming league fixtures against Everton and Manchester United, Conte will have his fingers crossed that the experienced player is not on the sidelines for too long.
Lucas isn't the only Spurs star the boss cannot call upon at Elland Road as Rodrigo Bentancur is not available for the game after injuring his ankle in the midweek defeat at Burnley.
Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga also remain out due to their respective groin and knee issues that have seen them miss out in recent weeks.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game at Elland Road, Conte outlined exactly what he is expecting from Bielsa's side, who have recently dropped to within three points of the relegation zone after a bad run of form.
"A tough game because it’s not a good period for them or us," said the Italian. "They’re fighting for the relegation zone and we want to try to stop this series of defeats. I remember very well my first game against Leeds.
"We were losing 1-0 and the first half they deserved to win. Second half we played a good game and won 2-1.
"The atmosphere will be very hard. Tough game but at the same time we have to make experience about the last game against Burnley and to understand why we lost the game."
