Humphrey was in man coverage with Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams when he surrendered the game-tying touchdown in the fourth quarter. Shockingly, Humphrey didn’t work as the sole cover guy for Adams in Week 2 but deferred, sharing coverage responsibility with backup Brandon Stephens.
Adams finished week 2 with nine receptions for 110 yards at 12.2 yards per catch, and the question remains: where was Humphrey’s shutdown ability in week 2? With rookie defensive back Nate Wiggins non-participatory, why did Humphrey shy away from the vital assignment of covering Adams all game?

Humphrey wasn’t very impressive in week one either, as the Ravens allowed Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice seven receptions for 103 yards. Humphrey’s pretension continues to spiral, and the league has taken notice.
Respectfully, it’s non-conducive for Humphrey to script an internet personality. At the same time, his team ranks last in the NFL against the pass, especially as he postures as the leader of the Baltimore secondary.
