The Ravens eating an unhinged amount of Uncrustables is somehow the least surprising thing about their season

The Baltimore Ravens are having one heck of a season. Some might say it’s because of coaching. Some might say it’s because of Lamar Jackson’s stellar play. The Ravens might tell you it’s because of peanut butter and jelly Uncrustables. (Seriously.)

After some harrowing years dealing with injuries and early playoff exits, the Baltimore Ravens are cooking. Lamar Jackson is playing like this season’s MVP candidate. Under John Harbaugh’s leadership, the Ravens have also locked up the No.1 seed in the AFC. Even Jadeveon Clowney is dancing on the field because success is plentiful.

Success like that doesn’t just come by chance. It’s powered by lots of things, including beef jerky, granola bars, Chews, and Uncrustables.

YES. A WHOPPING 7,500 UNCRUSTABLES.

Per Giana Han of the Baltimore Banner, Sarah Snyder, the Ravens’ director of sports nutrition, supplies the team with various healthy snacks throughout the season to carry them between practices and meetings. Sometimes, Snyder asks the team for any special requests, and Uncrustables has QUICKLY become a favorite.

In addition to the 7,500 Uncrustables that she has supplied the team,  Ravens players also have gone through 6,200 sticks of beef jerky, 3,600 snack bars, 2,850 energy chews, 1,800 bags of sunflower seeds and 460 energy bites.

This is truly wild stuff, but somehow, we’re not shocked.
