The country is getting ready to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee between June 2 to 5, 2022.
The four-day Bank Holiday weekend will be full of events to commemorate Her Majesty's 70-year-long reign as she becomes the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. Because of this, it's fair to say garden parties, village fayres, afternoon tea and other quintessentially British celebrations will be taking place in back gardens, community centres, village halls, fields, roadsides and such between now and then.
And with parties comes the need for decorations. There's always a last-minute rush to find an extra flag or two, however fortunately for us all The Range has, well, a range of Jubilee decorations and products to help you be prepared as possible for your own celebration - and some are a bit bizarre, to say the least.

Most of the items are caked in Union Jack print - there's bowler hats, commemorative mugs, bunting, flags, balloons, streamers, t-shirts, novelty items, furniture and even a face shield for those who want to enjoy the fun while staying safe. On The Range's website, there's also articles around pulling off the perfect picnic, hosting a summer garden party, making food and cocktails for the occasion and, of course, getting ready for the momentous occasion that is the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
So no matter your celebration, here's our guide to getting yourself ready for this historical moment using some of The Range's Jubilee gear - imagine answering the inevitable question: "Where were you celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee" with "under my Union Jack gazebo, sat in my Union Jack chair, surrounded by Union Jack bunting and waving my Union Jack flag".
Furniture and accessories
If there ever was a time to really go all out and swamp your surroundings in the flag of Great Britain, it really is now. Nobody is going to judge you for putting up a Union Jack gazebo in your garden to commemorate this event - especially when it's priced at £49.99 - though you may be forced to put on events for every occasion in which the country is being represented by the GB flag - Eurovision anyone?
And plain old ordinary camping chairs just aren't going to cut it when you're celebrating the Queen. Luckily there's a Union Jack camping chair for that - priced at £12.99.
Spending time at the beach to wave (forgive the pun) in the Queen's 70th year on the throne? A Union Jack beach parasol at The Range will cost you £14.99, while a travel blanket will set you back £12.99 and there's even a coolbox to keep those drinks fresh - for £19.99.
After something a bit more special?
If the Union Jack on its own just isn't working for you and you'd rather invest in something with a bit more meaning, then The Range also has a selection of commemorative items, be they emblazoned with Her Majesty's face and the date of her Platinum Jubilee, or simply just a corgi or a '70' or even something a little more London inspired.
There's a range of keyrings for £3 each (or two for £5) - you can choose between a corgi wearing a crown, a simple crown with a jewel, a crown engraved with the dates of the monarch's reign or the number '70' quite literally wearing a crown. We're sensing a very royal theme here.
Then, to enjoy a nice British cuppa in style, there's a commemorative mug and coaster set adorned with a lovely photograph of Her Majesty - priced at just £4.99. And a pack of four flags with the same image, at just £1.99, an 85 x 60cm flag at just £2.99 and 3.6m of bunting at £1.99.
The weird and wonderful
So you've got your bunting, furniture and flags. Your keys are now the most royal set of keys in the family and you're all set for a royal trip to the beach when the sun comes out. But something is still missing?
Ah that's right! You need something truly weird and wonderful - after all, you wouldn't be a true Brit if you didn't indulge in something completely bonkers to celebrate such a momentous occasion, would you?
While there's a doormat in, you guessed it, Union Jack print (£12.99), The Range can do so much better (or weirder) than that. Ever heard of a 'basher'? Well The Range has got a Union Jack one just for the occasion.
It's description reads: "Easy to inflate and great fun to use, the Union Jack Basher makes for a fantastic funfair or arcade prize. Featuring a striking Union Jack design so you can celebrate the country while having a good time."
Or how about a Union Jack printed TV table-top stand? The Range has three of them for a range of price and size options (73.1cm, 66.6cm, 42.6cm priced at £74.99, £64.99 and £54.99 respectively).
The description for this TV stand reads: "The UK Flag Table Top TV Standbase is a fantastic solution for both televisions and desktop monitors, with added adjustability to help you find the perfect viewing angle and reduce the strain on your neck. Its universal design uses standard VESA mounting holes and is compatible with most TVs and monitors.
"Its base is decorated with a bold Union Jack print in bright red, blue, and white and will add a flare of patriotism to your living room, bedroom, or home office."
