The Rams put together a draft-themed heist movie trailer and it’s awesome

The Los Angeles Rams don’t pick until No. 104 overall in the 2022 NFL draft, so they’ve had some time on their hands without the responsibility of studying first-round prospects bound to be selected on Thursday night. Enough time, it seems, to put together a ridiculously cool movie trailer about the Rams stealing the draft.

The Rams released the trailer on Tuesday and it stars everyone from Aaron Donald and Matthew Stafford to Dennis Quaid and Tyrese Gibson. Cooper Kupp, Jalen Ramsey, Kendall Blanton, Van Jefferson and Tyler Higbee are also in the trailer, as is Terrell Burgess – who has a funny line at one point.

It’s the type of production you’d expect from a team in Hollywood, and the Rams went all-out to create it. It’s too bad “On The Clock: The House Always Wins” isn’t a real movie because I’m sure a bunch of Rams fans would want to see it.

They’ll just have to settle for a third-round pick and seven selections on Day 3 of the draft instead.

The first round of the NFL draft kicks off on Thursday night, and the Rams will go on the clock at some point late Friday night – assuming Les Snead and Sean McVay don’t trade down from the 104th pick.
