Former Royal aide Paul Burrell has shared all on what will be going on behind-the-scenes for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, at Buckingham Palace.
Celebrations for the Monarch's milestone event kicked off on Thursday morning, with Her Majesty The Queen and the Royals set to unite for proceedings across the weekend.
Paul also addressed the recent Royal "feud" drama surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and their move to the US, and insisted the Queen wanted her grandson and his wife in attendance, suggesting she wants to "smooth" any issues over.
Speaking on Lorraine to host Ranvir Singh on Thursday, Paul detailed what Her Majesty The Queen would be doing in the lead-up to the celebrations, behind closed doors.
With the Royals all expected to celebrate alongside her, and a full weekend of celebrations, Paul shared his thoughts on how the Queen would be spending the milestone.
He said: "[The Queen’s] dresser will be preparing her clothes, the special outfit which has been made for the jubilee.
A strong colour so the queen can be seen in a crowd. She’ll be brought down to her dressing room, Her Majesty will have had breakfast.
"She’ll be relaxing, probably doing her Government boxes - still working, up to the last minute - and then she’ll go into Buckingham Palace.
"That room behind the balcony nobody ever sees, it’s empty. There’s just one little table inside it because that’s the corral she gathers everybody into and puts them all in their place, and the master of the house will say to her, ‘Now’s the time, Your Majesty’.
"The pages will open those windows and she will step forward onto the balcony. Everybody knows their place, everybody knows where they should stand and so there’s no fuss or bother - it’s all very organised. Organised by her."
Ranvir asked if he thought the Queen would still feel "humbled" by the Jubilee celebration, to which he replied: "Yes. She loves people.
"She likes to be interested in their lives. She’ll be humbled by the response from her nation. Her people matter a great deal to her."
Paul also discussed Meghan and Harry's arrival, and shared his belief there would be a "thawing" between Harry and his brother Prince William as they reunite.
He explained: "She sent her personal car to pick them up - she wants them here. This is a big moment for the Queen and Harry, their personal relationship.
"The Queen’s very fond of Harry, she adores him and she always takes his calls. As a granny, she loves that little unit, but she’s Queen as well. It’s her Jubilee. We shouldn’t be distracted from that.
"The Queen wants a smooth passage. She doesn’t like fuss and bother. She likes to take a back seat. She doesn’t like rough waters, she doesn’t like family conflict so she wants to smooth it over.
"Of course she sent a car to get [Harry and Meghan when they arrived in the UK] - she didn’t expect them to come back in a taxi so yes, she would do things like that.
"But there will be a very cool atmosphere behind closed doors because of what’s been said in the past.
"Some of the members of the royal family have been burned by what Harry and Meghan have said, especially on Oprah, and they don’t like it and so they’ll be very careful what’s said now in front of them."
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and ITV Hub.
