The Northern Ireland Executive is understood to be finalising a full list of closures for the exceptional bank holiday.

It is understood Libraries NI emailed all of its branches on Monday to notify them they will be closing.

Belfast City Hall will also shut its doors and Parliament Buildings at Stormont have closed for the period of mourning up to September 19.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest in a state funeral on Monday, when UK-wide historic sites and National Trust houses, gardens, cafes and shops will also close.
