The privileged childhood of Lisa Marie Presley with staff, planes, and wealth

Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of the late Elvis Presley, enjoyed a privileged life as the daughter of the king of rock n' roll. She was like royalty to the star and lived a life of luxury at Graceland, the home of Elvis that was turned into a tourist attraction after his death.

She had access to ponies, had staff to cater to her every whim, and was given private access to a theme park for herself and her friends.

To the king, nothing was too good for his daughter and he even flew her on a private jet when she announced she wanted to see snow, and they spent just 20 minutes there before turning and flying back.

It's been widely reported that Elvis would do anything for his daughter - and even though he was afraid of flying he purchased a plane and named it after her.

He paid $250,000, the equivalent of $1.3 million in today's money, for the plane in 1975, and named the Convair 880 'The Lisa Marie'.

When Lisa Marie was seven-years-old, she had spent most of her life in sunny Memphis Tennessee and only knew hot weather and sweltering sun.

She turned to her dad and told him she wanted to experience snow, and Elvis realised she had never seen a white winter - so he hatched a plan.

The pair jumped in The Lisa Marie and flew to Denver, Colorado where they played in the snow - until they got cold and turned back for Graceland.

Then, two years later, Elvis rented a theme park for Lisa Marie because he wanted her to be able to enjoy the rides like other children.

He rented Libertyland, located in Memphis, which had around 24 rides - including Bumper Boats, a Car-Go-Round, Casey's Cannonball Train Ride, and the Dragon Wagon.

From 1am until dawn, the Presley family and a number of Lisa Marie's friends took to the park and had it all to themselves - going on fourteen rides together as a troop.

Sadly this would be one of the last memories Elvis and Lisa Marie made together, as the king sadly died eight days later, and now Lisa Marie has also passed away.

It was announced that she has died by mum Priscilla Presley, 77, who released an emotional statement.

Priscilla said: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.

"She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment."

Tributes to the only child of Elvis and Priscilla have begun pouring in as John Travolta posted a photo of her on his Instagram page and wrote: "Lisa baby girl, I'm so sorry. I'll miss you but I know I'll see you again. My love and heart goes out to Riley, Priscilla, Harper and Finley."

In a Twitter post, Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin wrote: "I had the chance to know Cilla Presley when I was on Dancing With the Stars and as a mother, I can't imagine the pain she must be going through with the untimely passing of Lisa Marie."

While Diane Warren shared her sorrow over the "horrible news". The singer added that "the entire world is sending love and prayers to Priscilla and Lisa Marie's children right now".

Beach Boys co-founder Brian Wilson said: "It's hard to take when someone so young and full of life passes on."

Tom Hanks, who appears in the biopic movie about Elvis, and his wife Rita Wilson shared a joint tribute to Lisa and recalled the time they'd spent together recently to promote the biopic.
