Primark is looking to fill several job vacancies in Greater Manchester, including some management roles. The retail giant has positions available across the region in visual merchandising, team and department management.

Visual Merchandiser – Manchester, Market Street
£10.14 – 10.50 per hour
Primark’s city centre store is seeking a new team member to be the creative ambassador for its visual merchandising.
Responsibilities within this role include:
- Delivering an inspiring visual proposition for the brand to enhance customer experience and maximise sales.
- Working collaboratively to drive sales through strong merchandising, window schemes, mannequin styling, point of sale and product layout.
- Working with the Visual Merchandising Manager/Store Manager to deliver high visual standards that exceed customer expectations and inspire a great store environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in retail and visual merchandising.
This is a full-time role with 37.5 hours required. Shift times will vary and may include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Team Manager – Oldham/Warrington
£28,372 per annum (Oldham) or £29,791 per annum (Warrington)
There are management opportunities at Primark’s Oldham and Warrington stores, helping to guide a team of assistants and deliver for customers.
Responsibilities within this role include:
- Being responsible for a department in the store, including commercial planning, stock management, sales, planograms, and visual impact.
- Allocating tasks to Retail Assistants in your department, developing their skills and keeping them motivated and engaged.
- Managing till areas as required while making sure all customers have an excellent experience.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be a leader who can build credible working relationships with colleagues. Strong coaching skills and great commercial awareness is also essential.
This is a full-time role.

Department Manager – Warrington
£33,946 per annum (pro-rata)
If you are an experienced retail manager looking for a new challenge, then Primark’s Warrington branch has an opportunity to lead a team as a Department Manager.
Responsibilities within this role include:
- Overseeing the day to day running of at least one department within the store with full commercial control, including stock ordering and merchandising.
- Leading a team to maximise sales and provide a superior level of customer service.
- Being in charge of the store for a shift in the absence of senior management.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, a commercial mindset and exposure to a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time role on an 11-month fixed-term contract.
