Film fans can get the chance to watch some of their favourite movies in a rather unique location this month - inside a cave in the Peak District. The pop-up cinema event The Village Screen is returning to Peak Cavern, with classics including Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and The Goonies being shown on a 21ft screen.
Offering something a bit different to your usual cinema experience, audience members can expect to be fully-immersed in the film while sitting inside Peak Cavern, a cave in Castleton which is also known as The Devil’s Arse. It’s a spectacular natural setting which is made even more magical with amazing sound and lighting.
Adding to the experience is pre-show live music, themed actors and mesmerising decorations. Independent street food stalls will be providing a tasty range of snacks and drinks, including themed drinks, beers, prosecco, popcorn and more.
