Shane MacGowan has shared a health update with fans, just weeks after he was hospitalised due to an infection.
The singer-songwriter, 65 - who is best known for fronting the Pogues - is understood to have ended up in hospital earlier this month with both shingles and encephalitis.
He returned home a few weeks ago and later shared a festive message to his fans. He's now appeared in another video, in which he provided an update about his health.
Shane addressed his followers in a video that was uploaded to his Twitter account earlier this evening, in which he shared well-wishes to fans ahead of the New Year.
He seemed to reveal in the clip that he is still suffering from encephalitis, which the NHS describes as a "serious condition in which the brain becomes inflamed".
The NHS states that it can be life threatening and "requires urgent treatment". It lists confusion, seizures, difficulty speaking and loss of movement as possible symptoms.
Shane appeared to mention the condition in the video, in which he was seen wearing a blue t-shirt and a pair of sunglasses - potentially due to being sensitive to light at the moment.

He appeared to say: "Hi friends, I'm sitting here suffering from encephalitis. The light is killing me [...] but I wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and Happy Christmas".
"And many more, and all the luck in the world and all the love," he continued. The performer concluded in the video: "Happy Christmas and Happy New Year, love Shane."
The caption alongside the video read: "Happy New Year. Have as much fun as you can when you can!!! Thank you".
The tweet has amassed more than 80,000 likes on the platform since it was first posted. It prompted a number of his followers to send well-wishes to Shane.
"Best wishes to you and yours for 2023. [...] Much love and healing vibes your way," wrote one person. Another said: "Happy New Year, I wish you much joy and happiness".
