The picnic spots near Greater Manchester named best in the UK

A picnic is a quintessential summer experience. From tucking into sandwiches at the seaside to quiche in the countryside, there’s nothing quite like a picnic on a summer’s day.

To mark National Picnic Week (June 17-25), HelloFresh analysed data to reveal the top 20 best picnic locations in the UK. Luckily for us in Greater Manchester several of these spots are in easy reach.

HelloFresh looked at nearly 50 picnic spots in the UK and scored each of them on the following criteria: the average maximum temperature during the summer months, the total number of views on TikTok and the average monthly google searches. The famous white cliffs of the Seven Sisters in East Sussex took the number one spot, but coming in second place is Chatsworth House in the Peak District.
