The second week in April saw a lead up to an Easter weekend like never before.
The UK was in its third week of lockdown and people prepared to stay at home for the four-day weekend.
But despite Bristol and the rest of the country being on lockdown, the city's courts continued to operate.
While there were fewer cases, Bristol Magistrates' Court saw a man sentenced for assaulting a nurse, shoplifters and violent criminals dealt with within its walls.
Each week, Bristol Live reports from the city's courts. This reporting forms an important part of the UK's open justice system, that justice can be seen to be done.
Some of the key benefits of open justice include ensuring public confidence and respect in democracy and the administration of justice, as well as deterring people from committing crimes and thereby the details of those crimes becoming public knowledge.
Here are the criminals who were dealt with by Bristol Magistrates from April 6 to April 10.
