The other side of Ange Postecoglou as Celtic boss' X-rated Australia rant caught on camera

Incredible behind the scenes footage has emerged showing Ange Postecoglou launching into a furious rant at his Australia players while in charge of his country - and punching a TV screen in frustration at some poor defending.

Anyone who has played under the Greek Aussie, now in charge at Celtic, knows all about the high standards he exacts. He doesn't hold back when he's unhappy and speaking to the press after their defeat to Sydney FC on Thursday, he made that clear by telling his stars they were "nowhere near it" - even if it was a friendly.

You wouldn't want to be on the end of one of his angry team talks anyway, certainly not now documentary footage has emerged showing his behind-the-scenes response when those standards drop. As part of a film for Australian TV, Postecoglou, who was inducted into the Australian football Hall of Fame during his trip home to the Sydney Super Cup, was caught on camera letting his countrymen hear it. And it's not a clip for the faint of heart.

While it's not abundantly clear which exact performance sparked his fury, he wasn't pulling any punches - with his TV screen even feeling the brunt of it at one point in his furious rant.

He's seen saying: "We've got to be better than this. We must be better, that's just careless! And not only that, there's one, two, three... we cannot f***ing concede there.

"There's f***ing got to be a reaction there," he goes on before battering the screen for emphasis. "Someone! F***'s sake!"

Postecoglou's Hoops face Everton in the early hours of Sunday morning before going off on holiday and preparing for the second half of the Premiership season.
