The Osbournes to make TV return on BBC as Ozzy and Sharon move back to the UK

The Osbournes is making a comeback to TV after nearly two decades.

The popular reality show began on MTV back in March 2002 and followed the home life of Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon Osbourne and their children Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne. The show is now making a big return to our screens for the first time since 2005, as the couple make their return to the UK.

The BBC have confirmed they will be following the Osbournes as they settle back into life in Buckinghamshire after deciding to leave Los Angeles for a new life in the UK. It promises to be a "funny, moving and honest insight" into the family and their new home life.

Clare Sillery, Head of Documentaries, at the BBC said: "20 years ago, the Osbournes left Britain for a life in LA. Now they are coming 'home to roost', back to their family home, pretty much as they left it all those years ago.

"In this new series, our audience will be able to follow the family as they settle back into their new life in a Buckinghamshire village ... it promises to be a funny, moving and honest insight into their new life back in the UK."

Ozzy and Sharon will front the show - and there is a "lot of excitement" ahead of the upcoming series.

"More from the Osbournes has been discussed a lot over the years. They’re internationally renowned and telly execs have long thought it would be great to do a new show," a source told The Sun.

"Until now they haven’t been able to make something happen but, after they moved back to Britain, the idea was floated to them again - and this time Sharon’s keen. It has prompted a lot of excitement."

The Black Sabbath singer previously slammed the US as "f****** ridiculous" as he explained their decision to head back to the UK.

"Everything’s f****** ridiculous there. I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings," he said, "And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert … It’s f****** crazy."

Ozzy and Sharon are moving back to their Grade II listed mansion in Buckinghamshire and away from their Californian home.
