If there’s any mascot in college football that knows how to make an entrance, it’s the Oregon Duck. Not even a question.
Over the years, we’ve seen the Duck pull off a lot of entrance antics, from demolishing a children’s basketball hoop to trolling Deion Sanders so hard its head fell off. (Plus, there was that time it nailed a fan in the face with a sheet cake on national TV.)
Well, Friday night ahead of No. 6 Oregon’s home game against No. 16 Oregon State, the Duck somehow managed to top all its other game day entrances, sliding into Autzen Stadium on a zip line and rappelling to the field with the Mission Impossible theme music playing.
Yes, you read that correctly, and it’s spectacular.
