Alex Jones was left embarrassed on The One Show today - as her phone went off live on air.
The presenter helmed the BBC One show tonight alongside Jermaine Jenas, where she was chatting with Gabby Logan and Watchdog's Nikki Fox about celebrities being caught up in scams after their faces were used without their consent. There was a VT, where Anne Hegerty from The Chase spoke of how a company used her face without permission to promote diet pills.
One woman explained how she had been taken in by the scam, reassured that Anne - who is known as The Governess on the ITV quiz show - was seemingly behind it. Nikki explained how these fraudsters would use celebrity faces to earn 'trust' amongst shoppers.
As they returned to the studio, Nikki confirmed Anne would be getting her lawyers to speak to the company for their false advertising and using her name without her permission. Alex then went on to explain how she also had her name wrongly used.
She explained she had once attended a fitness class at a gym, and when she came back the following week, they had put a photo of her up - and were insinuating she was endorsing the class. when she had only been once.
As she continued to share her story, the phone could be heard buzzing and then it rang as Alex looked towards it.
Addressing the interruption, Alex said: "Oh that's my ring -" as Jermaine looked behind the sofa and added: "I think it is."
"It's the gym, they want their money back," Gabby joked, as Alex apologised for the interruption. "Anyway, sorry - and next time, I didn't go again, my friend went and saw a life size picture of me in reception without my permission."
It's not the first time Alex has been forced to apologise as of late - after Lewis Capaldi swore twice on the show a few weeks ago.
As he sat on the famous sofa, and asked how he felt about the chart success his song has had, he said: "Yeah, I'm chuffed to b***ery! It was nerve-wracking, but it's good to be back, amongst friends, and it's good to be out of the house!"
Talk then quickly turned to the music video for Forget Me, which was inspired by Wham's 1983 video for Club Tropicana. The original video featured Roman Kemp's mum Shirlie Kemp and Lewis loved her in the video
"Your mum was in it and she looked b**** good in it, I have to say that!" as Roman begged him: "Please, please stop!"
