Welsh TV presenter Alex Jones often shares relatable posts about motherhood and has now called herself a "bad mother" while hosting The One Show. She admitted that she did not hand-make every part of her son's World Book Day outfit and instead brought some pre-made ears.
The 45-year-old revealed she dressed her son up as the Big Friendly Giant, but when co-host Roman Kemp asked if she got involved, she admitted that she didn't dress up as a book character this morning. Alex candidly shared the details of her early morning rush with her kids and said that parents would "know the feeling."
"I'm a bad mother," Alex confessed. "I didn't, but honestly it's such a lot of hard work as parents know, to get him dressed as BFG, the little one as Cat Boy from PJ Mask, oh my goodness!" Roman seemed more interested in her creation of her son's BFG outfit, asking: "How did you do the ears?"

"The BFG ears?" Alex asked before admitting: "I bought them, I'm a bad mother! I know, I know." as the Daily Star reported. Recently Alex had a "horrible wait" for her youngest son Kit to come out of surgery.
Alex posted a picture of an empty hospital bed with a Peter Rabbit and Spiderman toy in it. In the caption, she explained that while her youngest son Kit was "just having some grommets" the wait for him to come out of surgery is "horrible none the less".
She said: "Just waiting for little Kit to come back from surgery. He's just having some grommets in his ears so nothing to worry about but horrible none the less." followed by a breaking heart emoji. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
