Alex Jones has blamed Strictly Come Dancing viewers as she shared a theory on why she thinks Molly Rainford has ended up in the bottom two four times on the BBC programme.
CBBC star Molly joined Alex and her co-host Ronan Keating as she appeared as a guest on Thursday night's edition of The One Show, alongside her Strictly pro partner Carlos Gu. Like the other couples left in the running for this year's Glitterball trophy, Molly and Carlos are readying two dances for Sunday's semi final and will be hoping to bolunce back from the disappointment of last weekend, when they ended up in the dance-off once again.
It proved to be a particularly bitter pill for the pair to swallow as they had to battle to stay in the competition, despite getting a highly impressive score of 38 out of 40 for their Musicals Week Charleston. After competing against Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima in the dance-off, Molly ended up being saved by the judges, but speaking on The One Show admitted that while she was delighted to make it through, it was "disheartening" to end up in danger of going once again.

Explaining how she felt, Nova Jones star said: "What is that people don't vote for? What is that we didn't do?" She added that the more times she and Carlos have been in the bottom the 'easier' it's been to pick themselves up before, offering her take on things, BBC presenter Alex replied: "You know what I think it is? I think you're so brilliant that people don't vote because they think 'she'll sail through. And that's the problem; people forget that they need to vote for you."
Alex added: "Don't worry, this is the week for you," as Molly chimed in with a message to viewers, shouting: "Don't forget!"
Prior to her appearance on The One Show, Molly took to Instagram with a message for her fans, saying: "I'm really excited for this week, love the styles and I feel like this is the week I really, really need to show everyone..." before being interrupted by Carlos.
Sharing the video on her Insta story, Molly added: "I was going to say, show everyone just how we're working to get to that final, just got to bring the passion."
