The One Show 's Alex Jones has detailed her "shocker of day" after her three-year-old son Kit broke his arm in two places and her other son was sent home with a "slight temperature". The 45-year-old shared the news with her 339k followers on Wednesday, November 3 ahead of her appearance on the weekly BBC One programme.
The Welsh presenter, who hails from Ammanford, revealed she was not looking forward to her little one having to wear a cast for so long. Sharing a picture of her son with his arm in a sling, Alex wrote: "Anybody else having a shocker of a day?!!!
"First Kit breaks his arm in two places and now has a plaster cast. To give you an idea, he hates socks that are slightly twisted... Sleeves that are not pulled down just perfectly and now a cast for SIX WEEKS!!! He's not into it…"

The mum-of-three then shared another picture of her eldest child Teddy, 5, on her Instagram story. Sharing her disbelief, she captioned the picture: "Then this one gets sent home from school with a slight temperature."
Taking a breather before presenting The One Show, Alex then posted a snap of nature as she strolled outdoors and wrote: "Thank goodness for beautiful autumn."
Following the drama, Alex later joined her The One Show co-presenter Jermaine Jenas on the famous green sofa. The pair sat down to talk to Gabby Logan and Watchdog's Nikki Fox about celebrities being caught up in scams but the studio was interrupted when Alex's phone rang live on air.
Looking around, Alex said: "Oh that's my ring," Checking behind the sofa Jermaine added: "I think it is."
The host quickly brushed off the blunder, apologising to viewers before continuing with the interview. "Anyway, sorry!" she told those at home.
It comes after the family enjoyed a getaway to north Wales earlier this week. During the mini-break. Alex visited places such as Beddgelert, Portmeirion Village and Betws-Y-Coed.
Alex, who shares Teddy, 5, Kit, 3, and one-year-old Annie with her husband Charlie Thomson, enjoyed walks, sightseeing and even an autumnal dip in the sea. You can read more on this here.
