Everybody has a favourite meal they return to time and again, but eating the same dish daily for 25 years is more out of the ordinary.
As it turns out, Victoria Beckham has done exactly that, according to her husband David. The fashion designer's unusual eating habit was revealed by her other half in an interview last year.
The football legend - who confessed to getting "emotional" over food and drink - expressed his dismay after only sharing a plate of food with his wife once in their decades-long relationship.
David revealed the interesting facet of their marriage in an appearance on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast.
"I get quite emotional about food and wine. When I'm eating something great I want everyone to try it," he said.
He went on to name the exact dish the Spice Girls singer is so found of, adding: "Unfortunately, I'm married to someone who has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years. Since I've met Victoria, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables. She'll very rarely deviate away from there."
The football star recalled the one time Victoria relaxed her strict diet as she enjoyed trying some of her husbands food.
"The only time she's shared something that's been on my plate is when she was pregnant with Harper, and it was the most amazing thing," David fondly remembered.
"It was one of my favourite evenings. I can't remember what it was, but I know she's not eaten it since."
David also revealed on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast that he once enrolled on an Italian culinary course during his time playing for AC Milan in 2009, in a bid to make the "perfect" ragu and risotto for his family.

"When I left Manchester and had to leave Manchester United, I was obviously devastated at the time, but it's really educated me in living in different countries, eating different foods, trying different things," the doting dad explained.
"When I was playing in Italy for 11 months, I was on loan at AC Milan. I'd train in the morning and in the afternoon I decided to take a culinary course in Italian cuisine. I absolutely loved it. I had a few private lessons and then it was in a class.
"But everyone was very focused on what they were all doing, so they weren't even bothered that I was ..."
David added: "I did the course because my kids' favourite food is Italian, so I wanted to perfect making the perfect ragu and doing the perfect risotto."
In appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden last year, son Brooklyn confirmed David's love of Italian cuisine.
During a cook-off segment on the American show, host James asked the wannabe cook what his dad's favourite thing to cook is.
"He loves risotto," Brooklyn confessed to James during their chat. "He loves cooking risotto."
