The Office, the beloved comedy series, has made a strong comeback in the weekly streaming rankings after becoming exclusive to Peacock. For the week of Jan. 22-28, The Office accumulated an impressive 602 million minutes of viewing time, securing the ninth spot among library series. This marks the first appearance of The Office in the rankings since it transitioned from Netflix to Peacock at the beginning of 2021.
Leading the rankings for the week is Griselda, Netflix's drama centered around the notorious drug queenpin portrayed by Sofia Vergara. Griselda garnered a remarkable 1.59 billion minutes of watch time within its first four days of release, premiering on Jan. 25. Reacher, the Prime Video series, held onto the second position among original series with 741 million minutes, following the conclusion of its second season. Netflix's docuseries American Nightmare followed closely behind with 676 million minutes.
Bluey, a popular kids' favorite, dominated the acquired series top 10 and secured the second spot among all titles with 1.25 billion minutes of viewing. Rick and Morty made a return to the rankings with 617 million minutes on Max and Hulu, while Cocomelon dropped off the chart for only the second time in the past three years.
The Nielsen streaming ratings focus solely on viewing via TV sets and do not include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. Additionally, the ratings are specific to U.S. audiences and do not encompass viewership from other countries.
