On paper, we should be in for an absolute treat of an NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat. You’ve got two of the best players of their generation, Nikola Jokic and Jimmy Butler, leading two battle-tested squads ready to finally break through with an NBA title of their own.
But before we even diagnose what might happen in this series, fans took to Twitter to make the same general nickname joke about the “Nuggets” and the “Heat.” Oh, surely you know what I’m talking about.
