Here is The Nottinghamian from Monday 14 November:
Hello,
Today's edition of the Nottinghamian focuses on Nottingham's food and drink scene. We have the news of a city centre restaurant being awarded a prestigious rosette.
Plus the latest on another a bar closure and Christmas dinners on pre-order. We also have the top ten things to do this week across Nottingham and things are starting to look festive.
Award winners
A restaurant which proved a winner on Come Dine with Me: The Professionals has been awarded a coveted AA rosette. Tree-lined Paris, inspired by the courtyards of the French capital, has won the accolade for culinary excellence.
The restaurant, in High Pavement, serves French-influenced food such as roasted langoustine bisque, venison loin with fondant potato, and white chocolate bavarois with pistachio sponge. Rosettes are awarded by AA restaurant inspectors. One rosette means "prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients."
Executive chef James Crossman, who also oversees Petit Paris in Kings Walk, said: "We are massively proud of it." Paying tribute to head chef Russ Crisostomo, he added: "He's had a massive involvement and thoroughly deserves the recognition." Read more here.
On the market
Nottingham's highest rooftop bar has been put up to let. GinSecco opened in May 2019 with more than 60 different gins and home-made 'ginfusions'. There hasn't been an official closure announcement but it is believed to have been closed for several weeks.
Located on the top floor of the Cornerhouse, the bar had panoramic views of the city centre skyline, including the dome of the Council House, from pink velvet-covered booths, and boasted an open air balcony. In the opposite direction angel wings on the wall made the perfect Instagram shot.
Alex Fuge, who ran GinSecco, said: "The concept was great and the lock and visual was perfect but it just didn't work in that location. It's an amazing location but it just didn't get the footfall." It has gone on the market with Box Property. The rent isn't being advertised but is available on request. Read more here.

John Molnar, who also runs the award-winning Cod's Scallops chain of fish and chip shops across Nottinghamshire, came up with the idea of an Ultimate Christmas Roast Box after making them for friends.
Costing £98 to £195 for the two sizes, bookings are already flying in from people who want to take the stress out of supermarket shopping during the festive season. Roast turkey and all the trimmings followed by Christmas pudding with brandy butter make up the box.
Mr Molnar said: "We've already got more booked so far this year than we did last year overall. Everyone who bought one last year has bought one again this year and we've had quite a few new people." Read more here.
