The nine changes Newcastle supporters want Eddie Howe to make for Wolves including Isak debut call

Alexander Isak should be handed his full Newcastle United debut at Molineux just two days on from his club-record arrival being confirmed. That is the view of Magpies supporters, who would also like to see Eddie Howe make nine changes from the midweek Carabao Cup win at Tranmere Rovers.

The Newcastle boss shuffled the pack for the second-round tie at Prenton Park, with Joe Willock the only player to keep his place from the draw with Manchester City. The League Two side provided United with a stern test, but Chris Wood's second-half header proved enough to advance to the next stage of the competition.

Attention now returns to the Premier League, with successive away trips against Wolves and Liverpool to come. There is also the small matter of the summer transfer deadline to negotiate, with Newcastle keen to strengthen further following the blockbuster deal for Isak.

The Sweden international has netted once in two La Liga appearances this term, and could be thrust into the starting eleven due to Callum Wilson's latest injury. The number nine picked up a fresh hamstring problem in the draw with City, but is only expected to be out for a couple of weeks.

Matt Targett and Willock are the only two to keep their place in the supporters' eleven from the win at Tranmere. Nick Pope comes back into the side, with Sven Botman, Fabian Schar and Kieran Trippier also returning.

Brazilian duo Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton partner Willock in midfield, while Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin take the wide roles. Isak is selected as the Magpies' frontman, meaning Wood would have to settle for a place on the bench.
