The NFC West and Week 7 power rankings

The NFC West did not have a good weekend in Week 6. The only team that won was the Los Angeles Rams, who beat the Arizona Cardinals in a divisional game.

The previously unbeaten San Francisco 49ers lost their first game and the Seattle Seahawks were taken down by the Cincinnati Bengals, who appear to have righted the ship after a 1-3 start.

San Francisco 49ers (No. 3 overall)

The Niners fell from the top spot to No. 3 after they lost 19-17 to the Cleveland Browns. Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel got hurt, Brock Purdy struggled and rookie kicker Jake Moody missed what would have been a game-winning field goal in the final seconds.

The Seahawks, who lost 17-13 to the Bengals, fell from No. 8 to No. 10, dropping a pair of spots like the 49ers.

Geno Smith had over 300 passing yards but was picked off twice and didn’t have a touchdown pass.

Los Angeles Rams (No. 14 overall)

Alex Gallardo-USA TODAY Sports

The Rams didn’t move, staying at No. 14.

I guess they don’t get much credit for beating the 1-5 Arizona Cardinals 26-9 after trailing 9-6 at halftime.

Arizona Cardinals (No. 29 overall)

Alex Gallardo-USA TODAY Sports

The Cardinals lost to the Rams and fell from No. 28 to No. 29.
