Swansea City will see out the week with at least two new signings on board.
The captures of winger Josh Ginnelly and full-back Josh Key have provided a welcome boost to Michael Duff's squad as he continues his preparations for the upcoming Championship season.
However, one hopes this will just be the start of the summer recruitment drive, with several key positions still in need of being addressed - ideally before the curtain goes up on their season next month.

The addition of Ginelly will be welcomed, but adding more firepower up front still has to be considered a big part of the brief - and that's before you even consider what might come next for star striker Joel Piroe.
Indeed, there's a real case for adding another striker whatever happens, particularly given the departure of Michael Obafemi. Whatever your opinion on the Irish international and the circumstances of his exit, his absence unquestionably weakened Swansea's options up front during the second half of the season.
Everton's Ellis Simms is seemingly a name on the radar, although the financial realities of a deal getting done, with the Toffees reportedly demanding something close to around £10million, will immediately cast doubts.
Despite sporting director Paul Watson's claims there is money to spend, it's a valuation that will surely be out of reach for the Swans.
Unless, of course, funds are freed up elsewhere, which is still a firm possibility heading into the next couple of weeks or so.
Piroe has already told the club he won't be signing an extension to his current deal, which expires next summer, and is almost certain to leave before the close of the transfer window.
Leicester City are one of those understood to have taken a keen interest, having been put off by his £20million price tag this time last year, while an unnamed side from Serie A is also understood to be keen. Southampton and Nottingham Forest have also tested the waters, but it's interest from Everton that could perhaps be significant given Swansea's apparent admiration for Simms.
Reports elsewhere have mooted the possibility of swap deal, although there's little indication at this stage that such a proposal is a realistic option. Nevertheless, it's easy to see how such a link can be made, given that cashing in on Piroe is likely to be a prerequisite in any meaningful move for the 22-year-old.
Then again, there are potential, albeit less significant, opportunities to cash in elsewhere in this squad.
Morgan Whittaker is understood to be open to moving on this summer, although it appears long-term admirers Rangers have cooled their interest at this stage. Plymouth Argyle are big fans too, but there are real doubts over whether they have the financial muscle to get a deal done. Coventry City are keeping an eye on developments as well.
Meanwhile, Matt Grimes, Ben Cabango and Nathan Wood have all emerged as a possible targets for Russell Martin at Southampton, and would all command fairly chunky price tags that could well be re-invested, although it remains to be seen whether the Swans would be willing to do business with the Saints given the animosity that's bubbled to the surface on the back of the recent compensation row.
Elsewhere, there's also a suggestion Olivier Ntcham, who's entering the final year of his current deal, could also be moved on. It's understood the Cameroonian is reluctant to entertain the prospect of an extension without assurances over game-time. At this stage, there's nothing concrete on the table in terms of interest from anyone, and he is currently prepared to see out the final year of his contract before making a call on what comes next.
Swansea., however, may well have their own ideas about that.
But even before Swansea get their ducks in a row in terms of departures, it's obvious there's a real need for reinforcements elsewhere. The capture of Key, while positive, doesn't fully solve their lack of depth in the wide positions and at full-back.
Steven Benda looks set to miss the start of the new season after recently going under the knife, meaning Andy Fisher is currently the only senior goalkeeper in the squad.
Another midfielder may well be on the shopping list too, given the departure of Luke Cundle, who was previously open to a return to the Swans after a largely successful loan spell, although his enthusiasm may well have depended on Martin still being at the club.
Movement on certain players' futures is expected later this week, and that could well grease the cogs for the rest of Swansea's summer transfer plans.
