The new films on Disney+, Netflix, NowTV and Amazon you can watch this weekend

There is absolutely nothing worse than scrolling through streaming services desperately trying to find something to watch.

This weekend there are a handful of brand new films on the big four - Disney+, Netflix, NowTV and Amazon and we've collated them here to save you that job of scrolling as your takeaway goes cold.

Other than films there's loads out there to watch, click here for what's new on Netflix during the whole of March and on terrestrial TV you've got the returning Killing Eve and Peaky Blinders, as well as the brand new adaptation of The Ipcress File on ITV.

Take a look at the list below of the new films you can stream this weekend, March 4 - 6.

Netflix

Against the Ice

Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Peaky Blinders' Joe Cole star as two adventurers in a true story about an Arctic expedition in 1909 which goes a bit awry when the two men are stranded in Greenland.

The Weekend Away

A weekend getaway to Croatia goes awry when a woman (Leighton Meester) is accused of killing her best friend (Christina Wolfe) and her efforts to get to the truth uncover a painful secret.

Nightride

A drug dealer attempts to go straight - by pulling off one last big job - in Stephen Fingleton’s (The Survivalist) immersive thriller. Set over the course of one night in Belfast, Nightride was shot in a real-time, one-shot style, giving it a sense of urgency and immediacy. The action, laced with dark humour, centres on Budge as he attempts to close a deal with cash borrowed from a ruthless loan shark.

The Invisible Thread

The bittersweet story of Leone, a teenage boy with two fathers. In the film Leone will have to face the prejudices his family generates while dealing with the separation of his fathers.

Disney +

West Side Story

Steven Speilberg's multi-Oscar nominated remake of Robbins and Bernstein's classic musical which takes its ill-fated romance straight from the pages of Romeo and Juliet.

It stars Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler as the star crossed lovers from different New York gangs, the Sharks and the Jets.

Amazon

Lucy and Desi

A feature-length documentary about the life of Lucille Ball and her husband Desi Arnaz, TV pioneers who had a huge impact on Hollywood from the 1950s onwards.

NowTV/Sky

Old

M Night Shyamalan directs this horror-thriller as a family's holiday trip to a beach takes a sudden, mysterious turn.

The World to Come

Casey Affleck and Vanessa Kirby star in this powerful 19th-century romance about a farmer's wife who becomes drawn to a new neighbour as their affection for each other fills a void their respective husbands cannot fulfill.

Out on Sunday, March 6.
