The Northman

This action-filled epic follows a hate-filled Viking prince as he embarks on a bloody quest to avenge his father’s murder. Travelling through the brutal climes of Iceland, Amleth (Alexander Skarsgård) will stop at nothing in his hunt for revenge, all in the name of his betrayed father, and Valhalla.

From visionary director Robert Eggers (The Lighthouse), The Northman boasts an all-star cast including Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke, Björk, and Willem Dafoe.

The Northman is streaming on Now and Sky Cinema.

Upright – Season Two

Season two of this comedy-drama – starring Australian comedian Tim Minchin and House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock – premieres this week with eight brand new episodes. The misfit duo is reunited after four years when Meg (Alcock) turns up unannounced.

Lucky (Minchin) and Meg hit the road – and the river – on a mission to find Meg’s mum, trading the desert for the steamy tropics of Far North Queensland.

Upright season two is streaming on Now and Sky Comedy.

Souls – Season One

A look into the past shows pregnant pathologist Allie (Julia Koschitz) in Stockholm, who does everything to prevent her beloved pilot husband from flying. She fails, and Flight 2205 crashes, forcing the widow to relive the same day again and again.

In the Berlin of the future, 25-year-old Linn (Lili Epply) joins a sect whose members desperately want to believe in life after death. Elsewhere, Hanna’s (Brigitte Hobmeier) 14-year-old son saves his mother from drowning after a serious car crash.

Hanna’s life soon gets out of joint when her son claims to remember his former life as the pilot of the doomed plane. Somehow, the boy’s memories will change the fate of these three women forever.

Souls is streaming on Now and Sky Atlantic.

The Outfit

Mark Rylance stars in this crime drama about a Savile Row tailor whose clients are a family of vicious gangsters. He is drawn into a deadly war between rival gangs in 1950s Chicago and faces an excruciating fight to survive.

The Outfit is streaming on Now and Sky Cinema from November 26.
