Ambulance

Needing money to cover his wife’s medical bills, decorated veteran Will (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) teams up with his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal) to steal $32 million from a Los Angeles bank. However, when their getaway goes spectacularly wrong, the desperate thieves hijack an ambulance carrying a severely wounded cop and an EMT worker.

Caught in a high-speed chase, the two siblings must figure out a way to outrun the law while keeping their hostages alive. This action-packed thriller is directed and produced by Hollywood legend Michael Bay (Armageddon, Transformers).

Ambulance is streaming on Now and Sky Cinema from 11 November.

Poker Face

Set in the world of high stakes poker, tech billionaire and gambler Jake Foley (Russell Crowe) gives his best friends a night they will never forget and a chance to win more money than they have ever dreamed of. But the evening takes a turn when long-held secrets are revealed, an elaborate revenge plot unfolds, and thieves break in.

Directed and co-written by Crowe and also starring Liam Hemsworth. Poker Face is streaming on Now and Sky Cinema from 12 November.

9 Bullets

A former burlesque dancer turned author (Lena Headey) discovers a second chance at life and redemption when she risks everything to rescue her young neighbour after he witnesses his parents’ murder. Now on the run from the local crime boss (Sam Worthington) – who happens to be her longtime ex – she makes a desperate attempt to get the boy to safety.

9 Bullets is streaming on Now and Sky Cinema from 13 November.

Italia 90: Four Weeks That Changed the World

This three-part docueseries revolves around the 1990 World Cup and the reality of life at home for five of the nations competing: England, Italy, Cameroon, Yugoslavia and eventual winner West Germany. Told by an international roster of iconic interviewees – including Paul Gascoigne, John Barnes and Jürgen Klinsmann – this will be the definitive story of the World Cup that changed football forever.

Italia 90 is streaming on Now and Sky Documentaries from 13 November.

Hurst: The First and Only

Former England footballer Geoff Hurst’s life is about so much more than scoring the only hat trick in a World Cup Final. This documentary charts some incredible highs and little-known lows as the sporting legend talks for the first time about the tragedies which have mirrored his remarkable achievements.

Hitting football’s highest heights compares little to losing a brother to suicide and a daughter to a brain tumour. And six years after Hurst’s glittering career came to an end, he found himself on the dole.

Hurst: The First and Only is streaming on Now and Sky Documentaries from 13 November.
