Funny Woman

It’s 1964 and girls are expected to be flirty, fabulous and fertile – they are not expected to be funny, but Barbara Parker is different. This comic drama follows Barbara (Gemma Arterton), a young woman working in a Blackpool rock factory who sets off for London without a plan, but with a dream.

She embarks on a mission to reinvent herself and find her voice in the male-dominated world of the 1960s sitcom. However, the road to stardom is paved with banana skins and she suffers many a pratfall before she achieves her goal.

Funny Woman is streaming on Sky Max with Now.

All That Breathes

Hailed as “one of the best movies of 2022” by the New York Times, this Oscar and BAFTA-nominated documentary is the first film ever to win the best documentary prize at both the Sundance and Cannes film festivals. Against the darkening backdrop of New Delhi's apocalyptic air and escalating violence, two brothers devote their lives to protecting one casualty of the turbulent times: the bird known as the black kite.

All That Breathes is streaming on Sky Documentaries with Now.

The Railway Children: Return

This family drama is the sequel to the classic British children’s book and film, The Railway Children. Set against the backdrop of WWII and the Blitz 38 years after the original film took place, Bobbie (Jenny Agutter) is now the retired headmistress of the local high school.

She has been called upon to set up an emergency school for evacuee children flooding into the country side to escape from the bombing of the industrial Northern cities.

The Railway Children: Return is streaming on Sky Cinema with Now.

Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat

In this animated comedy, young performers on a music contest show admit they have never heard of Angus Scattergood (Eddie Izzard). Bodi (Graham Hamilton) is compelled to join the show to restore the Rock Legend's good name.

Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat is streaming on Sky Cinema with Now from February 11.
