When tuning into the new series of Love Island for the latest twists and turns during a summer of love, viewers can't help but notice what the islanders are wearing - including their accessories.
For the 2022 series of the ITV2 dating show, which kicked off at the start of June, a major change was made over the clothes the latest set of Islanders are wearing. Instead of being treated to a whole new wardrobe before they entered the famous Spanish villa, they have instead been donning pre-loved clothes.
Love Island announced its new partnership with eBay UK in support of its mission to change the way we shop for clothes. eBay UK is the first pre-loved fashion partner to couple up with the show and a shared wardrobe has been situated in the new villa for the first time ever.

But it's Gemma Owen who has been under a microscope during her time in the villa thanks to her famous dad, former footballer Michael Owen, and her interesting start to her time in the villa. And now even her jewellery is getting the detective treatment, the Liverpool Echo reports.
A TikToker has done some sleuthing and uncovered the whopping cost of her necklace that she is rarely seen without. Briege Elder posted about the piece of jewellery as she's been seen wearing it for the majority of the show. The video goes into great detail about not only the brand of jewellery but similar items and their availability.
At the top of the video, Briege said: "We need to talk about Gemma Owen’s gorgeous necklace that she is never seen without. About a week into the series I noticed this necklace and thought that looks kinda familiar and also it’s kinda expensive. And I was right. The necklace is part of the Tiffany and Co. Graffiti X collection."
The TikToker shared an image with similar items available classed as the "baseline" edition retailing from £200 - £300 on their website. She added: "However, Gemma's is a gold choker-style which means a lot thicker and it also has diamonds embellished."
Briege wasn't able to find an exact quote for Gemma's particular style but mentioned its resale value starts at a massive £7,500 for a version without diamonds. She then estimated Gemma's retails for £15,000 - £20,000. However, other Twitter and TikTok users were quick to correct Briege by saying the necklace could be almost double her guess, sitting somewhere around £40,000 if brand new.
Several comments surfaced claiming Gemma's piece is a bespoke item from a vintage collection with only a handful being made in history.
