You could definitely make a case that Michigan State basketball legend Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson is the greatest Western Conference player in the history of the NBA. To celebrate the league’s 75th anniversary, they are adding some new postseason awards, and they will be naming one of them, the Western Conference Finals MVP, after Magic himself.
The player who is considered the MVP of that series will be given the very awesome looking Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP award.
