The celeb-approved naked shoe trend wants us to bare our all this summer—and by all, we mean our feet. Here's why you should consider adding some see-through footwear to your capsule wardrobe...

It seems our love for sheer dresses is officially spreading, as clear and barely-there shoes are having a bit of a moment right now. In fact, they're joining the likes of ballet flats and Adidas Samba sneakers on the list of must-have springtime footwear.

Celebs from Jennifer Aniston to Gigi Hadid have all rocked the naked shoe trend, pairing their event and red carpet looks with clear, vinyl heels. So, if you're looking to recreate their sheer style, here's all our fave celeb outfits and where to shop your own pair of naked shoes...

The 'naked' shoe trend

The naked shoe trend effectively refers to minimal coverage shoes, either completely see-through, so that they show your entire foot or heels for instance, that have just one thin strap—leaving the rest of your foot exposed to the elements.

This style of shoe is handy when you really want your outfit to do the talking and don't want your footwear to distract —or if you're just looking to inject a hint of Y2K fashion into your fit.

See-through shoes are also seriously versatile because they're basically invisible, so they go with everything from silver fashion to bright dopamine-dressing shades like cobalt blue and hot pink. In case you need proof of their wearability, we come with receipts...
