The MRI machine is getting a workout in Berea

The Cleveland Browns are doing their best Oprah impersonation: “You get an MRI! You get an MRI! You get an MRI!”

After their loss to the New York Giants in monumentally disappointing fashion, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that a flurry of key players would be set for further testing on injuries. Chief among them? Reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett.

Garrett, who played through two foot injuries, also injured his groin in this game against the Giants. While the perennial All-Pro wants to play through the pain, it may be getting to much to bear for him.

He was not the only one, however. Three offensive linemen who have started games for the Browns this year will also get an MRI on Monday. Left tackle Jedrick Wills, who was playing well in his first game back this season, left the game after getting buckled under a Giants’ player. Wyatt Teller was also ruled out with a knee injury, and James Hudson III (even the swing tackle!) left with a shoulder injury that needs more testing.

Coming off of a year with extremely bad injury luck, the fortunes have not turned in the favor of the Browns. Hopefully the flurry of MRIs reveal nothing serious.
