Died unexpectedly on 28th May 2022, with his dog Dougie by his side. He leaves devastated family and friends. He was very much loved Dad to Christine, Father-in-Law to Jay, and Husband to Sue. He was born in Bognor, had jobs at LEC, and as a Railway Signalman and was a well-loved staff member at the Bognor Benefits Agency for many years, earning the moniker The Care Bear. He was also a well-known member of the UK Wargaming & RPG community. He moved to Wales in 2002, settling in Swansea, where he became a well-loved member of the Wargaming & RPG, and Comedy communities in South Wales. His loss is keenly felt by many in these communities and his other close friendship groups from around the world. His funeral will be held at Llanelli Crematorium on 11th July 2022 at 1pm. Irene Spalding
(formerly MATTHEWS) (née WILLIAMS) Irene sadly passed away on the 22nd June 2022 aged 98 at home and is now at peace. Irene was the beloved wife of the late William H Matthews and later of the late Frederick Spalding and loving mother of sons Stephen, Tudor and Jeffrey and their partners. She was a much loved and treasured nanny to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Irene was a loving sister to her late brother Ron and her sister in law Joan. She will be remembered as a lovely aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Irene will be greatly missed by all her family and her many friends including those from the School Meals Service, the St Helens Priory Womens Bowls Club and Castleton Chapel.
