Maria Parsons
24.4.1947 - 3.11.2022 After a long illness, suffered with great dignity and courage, Maria passed away peacefully on November 3rd, at home, with her loving husband Bryan at her side. Loving mum to Julie, Angela and Richard, loved mother in law to Stephen, Richard and Leanne cherished nan to Gareth, Laura, Emma, Molly, Rebecca, Hannah, Dana and Brandon and Great nan to Scarlett. She also leaves behind her devoted sister Marilyn. We wish to inform those who would like to attend her funeral, that it will be held at St Mellons Parish Church, Ty'r Winch Road on Thursday the 24th November 2022 at 12pm and then followed by Burial at Thornhill Cemetery at 1.30pm. Following the funeral, all are invited to the Royal British Legion, Llanrumney, to celebrate Maria's life. Maria will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Suddenly on the 1st of November 2022, Michael, a loved Son of Margaret, a loving Father to Garth and Carys, Grandfather to Blake and Alba, sadly passed away. Resting at D.J.Evans Forse Funeral Home. Margaret passed away peacefully on the 24th October 2022 surrounded by family aged 81 years, Margaret was a loving wife to the late Wassilij Lobatschew, also a devoted Mother to Nina, Christine and David but also a loving grandmother and Great-grandmother. John Michael Shepherd
(Mike) John Michael Shepherd passed away peacefully on 21st October 2022 aged 90 years, at the University of Wales Hospital Cardiff, following a short illness. Beloved husband of Mair and brother of Graham, Nancy and Ron. Loving father to Julie, Christopher and Jonathan and father-in-law to Paul, Jennifer and Mikey. Cherished 'Bampy Mike' to grandchildren Clare, Kathryn, Lucy, Megan and Rhys, and great grandchildren Emma, Harry, Chloe, Archie and Maddie. Employed by the South Wales Echo from 1949 to 1984. A service to celebrate Mike's life will take place on Friday 18th November at 2.15pm at the Briwnant Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium, Cardiff, and afterwards at the Pendragon pub, Llanishen, Cardiff. Nigel James Williams
Nigel passed away peacefully on the 28th October 2022 surrounded by his family. Loving husband to Julie, devoted father to Mathew, Laura and the late Kari and extremely proud Grampy to Jacob, Fox, Isla and Azura. An admired big brother to David and Martin and a well respected family man and friend. Nigel spent his working career with HMRC and also had a long list of achievements outside of work. He was a keen footballer in his early years becoming a qualified coach later on and he was also a talented artist, a Tai Chi instructor, an avid cyclist and an accomplished archer. His celebration of life service will take place on Monday 21st November 2022 in the Wenallt Chapel of Thornhill Crematorium, at 2pm. Followed by his wake at The Manor Park.
