(nee Williams) Suddenly after a short illness, Meriel died with her loved ones by her side on Saturday 8th April at the University Hospital of Wales. Beloved daughter of Margaret and the late Rhys Williams, sister to Catherine, adored auntie to Tom and wife of Ian. Helena Winifred WHITCOMBE
(nee Gunning) Suddenly but peacefully at home, Lena passed away on April 11th 2023, aged 87 years. Cherished daughter of the late Albert and Adeline, dear loving and proud mother of the late Tony, Adrian and Kieron, loved mother-in-law of Lynne, Josie and Carol, beloved sister of Brian and the late Pamela, sister-in-law of Tina and the late Andy. Lena was devoted to her three grandchildren Craig, Michael and Laura and her beloved great grandchildren. Lena was a treasured Auntie to her nephews and nieces and a great auntie to her many grand-nephews and grand-nieces. All her heartbroken family will remember her as a beautiful, gentle, kind, sincere, loyal, intelligent and generous person who had a great sense of humour. She leaves us all with very warm, treasured memories of her. Janet was born July 3rd, 1937, to Sam and Lena Eedy. Janet is survived by her sons, her stepdaughter Giovanella, her Brothers Jerym and David and her many Grandchildren. Sadly, passed away after a short illness on the 6th of April 2023 at UHW aged 78 years. Originally from Splott and most recently Old St. Mellons Devoted wife of the late George Loveridge and much-loved mother to Philip, Sarah, and Helen. Mother-in law to Anthony and Barry (deceased). Grandmother to Emma, Lucy, David, and Stephen. Great Grandmother to Ellie, Ava, Tyler, Deacon, Brody, Poppy, and Ronnie Rose. Will be sadly missed by all.
