Without a doubt, Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 has been one of the most dramatic seasons yet, and the Reunion Dinner Party is truly a testament to that stance. Here are the biggest moments from the MAFS 2025 Reunion Dinner Party.

While the experiment has officially come to a close for 2025, MAFS fans still have the Reunion Dinner Party and Catch Up to soak in all of the drama.
For folks who’ve never experienced such an exciting TV event, the MAFS reunion is where every single participant — even if they didn’t make it to Final Vows — returns for one final hoorah! It’s also an opportunity for the experts to see the results of their matchmaking and an opportunity for participants to scrap if they need to scrap.
The reunion usually takes place a couple of weeks after Final Vows, and it goes on two nights. Usually, the first episode of the Reunion is the Dinner Party and the second one is where the couples face the Ouch Couch one final time to reflect on their time in the experiment.
That being said, our 2025 cast has a lot — and I mean A LOT — of things they need / want to address at the Reunion. So it’s bound to be Drama City.
So, without further ado, here are the most explosive parts from the MAFS 2025 Reunion Dinner Party.
9. Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand have broken up
Although the pair agreed to stay together at Final Vows, fan-favourites Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand have gone their separate ways.
The cause? Well, just like in the experiment, Jamie felt like Dave wasn’t on the same level as her when it came to those romantic feelings. During a voxie, Jamie admitted that she was the one who had to “push” for the breakup, which happened a week before Reunion.
“I had to push for the break up,” Jamie shared.
“If I had not broken up with him last week, we would’ve been going to the reunion together for sure.”
However, for the self-proclaimed gentle giant, Dave’s outlook on the breakup was definitely different. When asked about what went down between them, Dave didn’t acknowledge that he didn’t have strong feelings for Jamie.
Instead, he claimed that both of them knew their relationship had run its course. But despite breaking up he believes they have “such a good bond”.
“Jamie and I decided to wrap it up. To call it quits on the relationship. We have such a good bond,” Dave dished.
“Jamie and I both knew were which direction [the relationship] was heading and yeah it happened just like that. Just fizzled out.”
8. Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou have broken up
Final Vows was definitely a head-scratcher for these two. To give you a quick recap, Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou initially agreed to break up. However, after an awkward silence, the pair kissed and made up.
But during the Reunion Dinner Party, we learn that after Awhina left Sydney and arrived in Perth, she felt at peace. As a result she realised she only had a “physical attraction” towards her MAFS husband.
That moment of peace also made her realise how poorly Adrian treated her throughout the experiment.
“Even if Adrian and I lived in the same state, it wouldn’t have worked. Our feeling didn’t progress past the physical level and I hadn’t really recognised that Adrian made me feel less than,” Awhina shared.
7. Sierah Swepstone is ready to blow up at the Reunion Dinner Party
Before rocking up to the party, Sierah Swepstone revealed that her mission for the Reunion Dinner Party was to tell people to “get fucked”.
For those who need a refresher, Sierah was matched with Billy Belcher. However, their time in the experiment came to an end when Sierah revealed that she was unable to build an emotional connection with Billy.
But alongside their relationship woes, Sierah was also called out for texting Adrian — yes, that Adrian — and hanging out with him behind Awhina and Billy’s back. As a result, their co-stars, as well as their assigned partners, began to speculate that Sierah and Adrian were having a little affair.
“Since leaving the experiment, I have come to the realisation that I have nothing to apologise for. I am an adult who went to dinner with a friend,” Sierah shared.
Sierah went on to reveal that she had a big bomb to share about Awhina.
The bomb? According to Sierah, during the experiment, she and Awhina went for a walk, to which she vented about Adrian. During this vent sesh, Sierah claimed that Awhina said Adrian was “stupid”, “couldn’t spell”, and said that “his business is a joke”.
6. Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice are dating
While this couple swap was spoiled by both Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice via their recent social media moves, the Reunion Dinner Party finally shows the duo as the lovey dovey couple we know online.
In the experiment, Jacqui was originally matched with Ryan Donnelly, and Clint entered MAFS as an intruder who got hitched to Lauren Hall.
But after an explosive Final Vows — which saw Ryan call Jacqui a “horrible woman” — it appears that the self-proclaimed Miss New Zealand found love with the Tassie-based groom. But before they could debut their new relationship to the group, rumours of their romance had already been clocked by their co-stars.
Before taking to the Reunion Dinner Party, Ryan revealed that he caught wind of this rumour and called both Jacqui and Clint up individually to get some clarification. However, both of them denied the romance.
“I respect honest communication but Jacqui had lied to me many, many times through this experiment. I just don’t know what to believe,” Ryan shared in regards to their dating rumours.
“So if Jacqui and Clint have in fact lied to me… There’s no justification. It would be very disrespectful.”
Well then… Prepare to be disrespected.
5. Sierah Swepstone blows up the Reunion Cocktail Party
Prior to Sierah’s arrival, we learn that the bride has allegedly talked some major smack about her co-stars and Awhina. According to Jamie, there was even a moment in the text conversation where Sierah called the cast a bunch of C-words. If ya know, ya know!
As a result of these leaked texts, a lot of the cast members feel some type of way about Sierah arriving at the Reunion.
However, before her arrival, Sierah is — as mentioned earlier — plotting to tell her co-stars to “get fucked”.
“After the experiment ended I rage texted Adrian. I had to get things off my chest. The issue is not what I said in the text; the issue is Awhina circulated them,” Sierah said on the way to the Reunion.
“Tonight, I’m a woman on a mission and that mission is to drop Awhina in the shit in front of everyone.”
When Sierah arrived, it appeared that the cast wanted nothing to do with her and she was pissed. Her on-screen ‘husband’, Billy, even attempted to hug her, but he was ignored by the MAFS bride.
After giving most of the cast some kisses and cuddles, Sierah immediately sat down next to Adrian, which riled Awhina up.
“I’m really pissed off at Sierah. We need to have it out with each other,” Awhina said in a voxie.
Awhina then sat next to Adrian, with Sierah on the otherside, to tell her ‘ex-husband’ that she’s “pissed off” over these off-screen texts.
Things began to escalate when Sierah jumped in the conversation, to which Awhina screamed back at her for allegedly texting Adrian when she went back to Perth to spend time with her son.
Jamie then jumped in to defend Awhina, telling Sierah that they’d seen the text where she called them the c-word.
Sierah then shut everyone down, which then led to her having a yelling match with Awhina.
“The way you treated me,” Sierah kicked off.
“The way I treated you?” Awhina replied.
“Are you joking me she berated me in front of everyone?” Sierah yelled at the group before Jamie got up and yelled, “She [Sierah] was trying to fuck her husband [Adrian].”
Sierah then got up from the group, and went to the couches to cool down alongside Katie Johnstone.
Shortly after, Awhina and Adrian followed Sierah to confront her about the messages she sent about the cast and Awhina.
When they finally reached the couch, Sierah dropped the bomb about what Awhina said about Adrian regarding his intellect and his business. As a result, Adrian wanted nothing to do with Awhina and was extremely upset with what she had to say.
4. Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice finally confirm they are dating to the group
While Jacqui and Clint arrived in the same car — all lovey dovey — the pair decided to enter the Reunion Cocktail Party separately.
Immediately after Clint walked in, Ryan decided to confront him over the rumoured relationship.
“You and me were mates, and I know you and her were friendly. A lot of chatter has happened tonight and I was hoping that it wasn’t true,” Ryan told Clint during their private chat.
“Well first of all, I know you’re trying to message me and claim that we’re mates, we’re not fucking mates,” Clint coldly replied.
Ummm, pretty farking rude if ya ask me???
When Jacqui finally walked in, the group attempted to confront them about their relationship status. Unfortunately, their announcement was halted by the dinner bell — or should we say, glass?
Of course, since everyone in this cast is bloody nosey, the rumoured relationship is the first thing that is brought up at the Dinner Party.
Finally, Clint admits that they are dating.
Immediately after the conversation, Ryan said he felt vindicated.
After revealing that they began their relationship two weeks after Final Vows, Ryan accused Jacqui of talking to Clint during the experiment, hinting that they could’ve been having an affair the entire time
The exes eventually blow up at each other. But hey, with the recent news involving lawyers on both ends, you know that they’re still feeling quite bitter about each other.
3. Jamie Marinos and Dave unpack their breakup
When it was time for Jamie and Dave to dish on their breakup, the fan-favourite bride left the table in tears after venting her frustration with Dave for not being emotionally available nor communicative when it comes to his feelings.
Throughout the discussion, Jamie shared how she was frustrated that she had to initiate the breakup. She also expressed how it was upsetting that Dave wouldn’t own up to the fact that he wasn’t attracted to her.
While the moment was truly heartbreaking, most of the women came to Jamie’s side, giving us one of the sweetest moments in this season of MAFS.
2. Paul Antoine tries to deflect the reason why he was dumped at Final Vows by Carina Mirabile
For context, Paul Antoine and Carina Mirabile were one of the couples to make it to Final Vows. However, after a series of mistakes from Paul’s end, Carina brutally dumped her MAFS ‘husband’.
At the Reunion Dinner Party, Paul claimed that he realised they weren’t compatible after Final Vows, despite not taking any accountability for his actions, which included:
- Allegedly punching a wall out of a jealous rage.
- Calling Carina a “snob” in the Honesty Letter.
- Going on the Plan B date on Final Test Week.
“We’re not compatible but for a few reasons. Because you haven’t been able to take much criticism throughout the experiment and also, you can be extremely judgemental of certain people or certain situations — that doesn’t sit well with me,” Paul shared.
“That’s when I realised Carina has massive trust issues.”
Thankfully, most of the folks could see his bitter ex facade. YAWN BYE.
1. Adrian Araouzou and Awhina Rutene have one final fight
If you know anything about Adrian and Awhina, it’s that there’s no winning between them. In the last heated moment of the Dinner Party, Adrian brought up his anger regarding Awhina calling him “dumb” during a walk with Sierah — who has walked out of the Reunion Dinner Party.
This final argument solidifies the end of their relationship. THANK GOD.
BOOM SHAKALAKA. That’s officially the final Dinner Party for the MAFS 2025 season.
Honestly, I wish we heard more from the singles like Katie and Ashleigh Ackerman. But hopefully, we get that tea tomorrow!
